Welcome to the Hermon Hutchens Elementary School Counseling Program

Welcome, HHES RAMS! Our school counseling program is here to support every student as they learn, grow, and shine. Built on the framework of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), our comprehensive program focuses on helping students develop the academic, social/emotional, and career skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.

At Hermon Hutchens Elementary, we are proud to be RAMS, Responsible, Appropriate, Mindful, and Safe, showing resilience, kindness, and strength each and every day!

You might see Ms. Giusti (Juice-Tea) working with students by acting out real-life scenarios, playing interactive games, creating meaningful projects, or sharing stories that spark important conversations. Whether it’s in classroom lessons, small groups, or one-on-one time, students are building essential life skills like managing big feelings, solving problems, and making positive choices.

Around here, learning these skills isn’t just important, it’s fun, engaging, and something we experience together!

Our program is data-informed and student-centered, designed to meet the needs of all learners. We partner closely with teachers, families, and our community to ensure all HHES RAMS feel safe, supported, and ready to take on whatever comes their way.
